Those who fly airplanes are 'other worldly'. They

express their experiences in terms that earth-

bound people don't know. Words like 'soaring',

'transcendent', 'spiritual', all describe the life of

the true pilot.

Those who fly those who give medical aid are a

different breed of pilot. Not only do they

experience flight, but they get to use this love

of life to make life better for those in need of

medical assistance. The Medevac pilot is a true

angel of life.

SkyCare is a Medevac air service which operates in Northern Ontario, Canada. They work from their home base in Red Lake and fly medical staff and patients to hospital facilities in larger centers.

Focus:

To create a logo image, and aircraft application. We wanted to create a logo which conveyed a quality, friendly airline. It was felt that if the image looked professional, this would promote a sense of confidence with those being transferred to larger medical facilities. We used a free-flowing font, kerned and modified into a logo face. The colours were chosen because of their professional implications. The stripes travel the length of the plane and cowling, and compliment the aircraft.
